Weather update- Thursday 4th February 2010

Rotherham College of Arts and Technology is open as usual during the current weather spell. This applies to both the Rotherham Town Centre Campus and the Rother Valley Campus in Dinnington as well as all outlying centres. We continue to monitor the weather and travel conditions throughout times of expected adverse weather conditions and will post any updated information on our website.

Amsterdam Awaits

Art and design students are all packed and ready to head off on a five-day study visit to Amsterdam.

Students Launch Lunchtime Concerts

Our students will soon be able to enjoy a mouth-watering live performance with their mid-day meal with a series of concerts planned in the refectory at the Town Centre Campus.

Student crowned the winner of Stafforce Recruitment’s Christmas card competition

Graphic design students recently took part in a Christmas card design competition for the company Stafforce Recruitment within Rotherham.

Celebration of the first Prince’s Trust programme

Prince’s Trust students had something to celebrate after they recently became the first team to complete the 12 week programme.

The College runs regular open events throughout the year on Wednesdays (4pm - 7pm), why not come along to the College's next open event day.

Matthew Ford

Matthew Ford was crowned Student of the Year within the Computing department this year after the progress he had shown throughout his HND in Computing course. The award came as a surprise to Matthew but the achievement made him feel proud of his accomplishments.
